ABOUT UWF CHI ALPHA
2 Corinthians 5:20 refers to Christians as Christ’s ambassadors which we shorten to the first greek letter of each word, “Chi” and “Alpha” or XA. Our name is our constant reminder that every Christian has a real part to play in this world by carrying the message and ministry of Jesus to the people around us.
Who Can Experiance XA?
All students are welcome to experience or to become a part of Chi Alpha, regardless of background or beliefs.
Why We Are Here
We are not a fraternity or sorority. We are a community of believers with a vision to transform the university, the marketplace, and the world by living and sharing what it means to be reconciled to Christ.
So How Can You Fit In?
If you’re looking for meaningful relationships, fun with friends, and to encounter God, then Chi Alpha is the place to be! You’ll discover pretty soon that Chi Alpha is a family. We seek God together, play intramurals together, and experience all of college together.
What is Important to XA?
In Matthew 22:36 a man asked Jesus, “What is the greatest commandment…,” and Jesus responded to him by giving him two answers, love God and love people.
In XA we think this sets the base for everything we do.
The best way to get involved with Chi Alpha is to come to one of our Bible studies. Check us out!
